Java Team Leader

About The Position

Solitics, an innovative customer engagement and analytics platform, is looking for an experienced hands-on Java Team Leader. 


Day to day

  • Responsibility for high scale cloud-based solutions 
  • Build and lead a team of talented engineers 
  • Design and develop microservices and functions with a focus on high availability, low latency, scalability, and resource utilization 
  • Apply code standards, design patterns, and best practices 
  • Work closely with the product team 


Requirements

  • B.Sc in Computer Science or similar 
  • 2 years as a Java Team Leader 
  • 5 years with Java 
  • Proficient in Java Core, and experience with Spring framework. 
  • Profound understanding of Java internals (Class-loading, Memory Management) 
  • Working in a Microservice architecture 
  • Strong understanding of design patterns, best practices, and coding standards 
  • Team player, accountable, dedicated, and passionate 
  • Experience in solving optimization problems 
  • Experience in handling Big Data scale and latency challenges 
  • Excellent abstraction and analytical skills 

 

Advantage 

  • Experience with AWS (S3, RDS, EC2, K8s) – Big Advantage 
  • Experience with high volume Relational and NoSQL database like MongoDB/RedShift/Snowflake/MongoDB 
  • Experience with Kafka, Big Data frameworks
